Honey is Forever

HK1– It is a very good opportunity to establish business face–to-face. We have a chance to sit down and talk in details with people from Poland. The meeting is very successful. We have already received some orders and a lot of inquires. I think it is a very good chance to establish a long-term cooperation with Polish firms – says Thomas Tjiong, Creative Director from “Cattivo Jewelry” Co. Ltd.

Maya M. Kowalczyk: Is it your first vistit to Poland?

HK2Thomas Tjiong: Yes, it’s our first time in Poland. It’s even the first time for us to do business with people from Eastern Europe.

What differences in doing business have you noticed? I mean, comparing to other regions, countries.

We used to do business with Italy, first, then western part of Europe. Poland is quite mature, in terms of market, trends, etc. I find people from Poland are also very trendy. They are also looking for good style and good quality. We can provide them with the kind of products they are looking for.

You are a designer, aren’t you?

Yes. My company majors in silver jewellery. Now, we have “Honey is Forver” series in which we use honey in a jewellery. We have patents for this collection. Here and in Hong Kong a lot of people ask for our products.
