Bettina von Blittersdorff : The ‘Biomaris’ is a German company. We are situated in the north of Germany in Bremen. We have a manufacture there. All products are based on sea water, sea algae, and sea salt. All ingredients come from the sea. We pump water from a place between Iceland and Greenland. So, it is really clen. Then we bring it to Bremen. It is cold when filtred. It is not heated so you can benefit fully from nature. This seawater called ‘Maris Aqua’ is used in our face and body care cosmetics. This is the the idea of thalassotherapy. Next year the company is 75. yeras old. We have also exported our products outside Germany from 15 yeras. In each country we have one distributor. For Poland it is ‘Creme Good Comany’ Ltd. from Cracow. They distribute our products to Spas, beauticians and end-consumers. This is the way we distribute our products worldwide.
Maya M. Kowalczyk : Which products do you have in your range ?
We have products from head to toe what means cosmetics for haircare, facecare, bodycare, foodcare, and suncare. We also have product lines for any type of skin. I mean for young, problematic, normal, mature skin. We have professional products and those for end-consumers. The beauticians sell cosmetics to end-consumers.
What about news ?
We have a new range with a new ingredient-Sea-Buckthorn’s. It is an orange friut which growth next to the seaside. The main idea is thalasso idea. During winter when your skin is dryer you should use richer creams, in summer lighter. It is all compatibile, you can combine our products. This is ideal!
What about the ‘Johnatan’ line, the men’s way of emancipation ?
We have a man’s line. In Germany we have a lot of shops and studios at the Baltic cost, and also inlands. Our cosmetics are sea connected so people love to go to the cost and have a feeling of being close to sea.
Which products does the line for men consist of ?
Bath & shaver gel, shaving gel, after shave tonic, daily care cream, anti-aging cream, and ‘Jonathan’ Eau de Toilette. The anti-aging line for men so very nice that even women like it.
