3rd International Conference on Contemporary Problems of Thermal Engineering with Jubilee of Professor Andrzej Ziębik (Gliwice, Poland, 18-20 September 2012).
CPOTE 2012 Conference organized within the European Research Center for Energy and New Technologies RECENT is the third international conference on Contemporary Problems of Thermal Engineering. The first conference under the same name, held in 1998, was dedicated to 50th jubilee of Prof. Szargut’s scientific activity. The second one, held in 2004, was jointed with the celebration of centenary tradition of the Institute of Thermal Technology (ITT) reaching back to the Technical University of Lvov. The present, third CPOTE Conference, is connected with the celebration of the jubilee of 50 years of academic activities of Professor Andrzej Ziębik.
The conference aims to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of current research activities in the field of energy systems with special focus on environmental and sustainable aspects.
